Wow, its been a while since my last entry about 3 months ago. and in 4 days time, me and my husband will be celebrating our 1st year anniversary! Time flies so fast kan? It feels like I just got married with the man that I love yesterday and I am so thankful to Allah s.w.t. for all the rezeki that He has given to us. Syukur Alhamdulillah =)

I have something to share with you all. No, no, we are not expecting new member in the family in the mean time even though we both are really hoping for it ='( Please do make do'a for us ya...I just have to admit that I feel down whenever people ask that question. but yeah, we can't stop people from asking us about it. Think before you ask anyone on that question ok? no offense but we do have feelings too...

InsyaAllah I will be reporting my new duty as an Accountant in Putrajaya on 3 May 2011 and all i can say is, Syukur Alhamdulillah. Remember this post? I was on the reserved list after the interview and those on the reserved will have the opportunity to fill up should there be any vacancy at respective Kementerian/Jabatan. The validity period for those on the reserved list is one year and mine has already expired last October. Actually, I wasn't really hoping to get the job with the government at that time as I know that it is quite tough to get into the government these days. But still, I keep on praying for the best =) and Alhamdulillah, all I can say is that the offer from Accountant's General come at the right time =D

2 weeks to go rakan-rakan yang disayangi...

waaaaa......sangat lah nervous huhu hihi huhu...

okay..enough babbling about this nervous thing..

I went to Jalan TAR during lunch hour sorang-sorang (diulangi, sorang-sorang =p) as mummy suruh beli ribbons for the nikah doorgift. I have never ever been to Jalan TAR all by myself before this..so this is like my personal achievement that can be proud of, which is driving to Jalan TAR sorang-sorang! huhuuh..

Managed to go to SSF to check out the small vase as a centerpiece for nikah and reception. as usual, will DIY the centerpiece. Hopefully it will turns out nice and comel.. =D

Counting The Days..

Alhamdulillah, we're done with the borang nikah and now waiting for the solemnization =) I am really thankful to Allah s.w.t as everything went smoothly from the day we took our HIV test to submitting our forms to JAWI & JAIS. My parents and I went to see Ustaz Haji Zaki last month get his signature at his house and he is such a nice person! Alhamdulillah, syukur sangat-sangat..he told us not to worry as he will not ask questions to the groom during akad nikah, yay! but I told abang to prepare himself and expect the unexpected, eheheh...

After some comel-comel argument with abang, we have finally decided on how many days of annual leave that we should apply for our wedding. thank u for your concern abang =D it is just not fair for me as i am only applicable to get 2 days of marriage leave instead of 5 days for him! we still have to save our annual leave till end of this year, and i managed to save my annual leave instead of planning to take 15 days (which is 3 weeks straight!) for my marriage leave, huhuhuh...

And oh, we have finally decided to go to Pulau Redang for our honeymoon! yay! Me and abang went to MATTA Fair last month and Ya Allah, ramai nya orang! frankly speaking, i have never been to MATTA Fair before and seriously don't know what to expect from there. But one thing for sure, i will directly go to well known travel agents instead of joining the crowd to see other booth next time. its just a waste of time and it is fully recommended to go to a proper travel agent rather than going to an unknown travel agent.

Oh, i dah dapat my paper lanterns!!! Dell from Marry Me Gifts n Such sent the lanterns to my house last Monday and I just love the lanterns!! sangatlah comel =D can't wait to hang it on my solemnization day!

Pain..Pain...Go Away...

Yesterday, I went to Damansara Specialist Centre as I could not stand the pain that I had to went through since Sunday night. The pain was on my left side of my body..the pain was Ya Allah....only Allah knows best...I could not breath well too. I called abang at about 6pm and he sent me straight to home yesterday. Thank you for your help abang..went to the hospital with mummy after maghrib and doctor suspected that the pain was due to my muscle. Maybe badan ter'twist' and i tak sedar when it happened. I got MC for today but I just don't know how am i going to go to office tomorrow as the pain is still there...

Betul kata orang-orang tua, kalau tgh berdarah manis tu, kene jaga-jaga..especially when the big day is getting nearer..with 7 weeks to go, I think I should be extra careful...

Ya Allah, I could not stand the pain..i am so weak...=( Do pray for my health ya...

A Quick Update

I just got back from D.Jaya, went to mom's tailor to send my nikah & reception outfit and also kain for siblings. My nikah outfit need to be alter as the outfit turns out to be quite big. hope that everything will be ready by end of March InsyaAllah..

Me n mom went to OU in the morning for Abang's fitting. Alhamdulillah, abang's baju melayu and coat sangatlah cantik.. =) InsyaAllah his baju melayu for nikah and my reception will be ready by next Saturday.

It has been a hectic life for me for the past few weeks juggling with office workload, wedding prep, etc. and i've been sleeping quite late lately to settle with some of the wedding stuff and end up being sleepy during office hours..=D

For those of you who replied my msg on fb, thank u so much. Deeply sorry for not being able to reply back your msgs at the moment. InsyaAllah ill try my best to find some time to reply your msgs ya. and hope to see u guys in April =D

I admit that i am pretty nervous when I look at the wedding ticker..with 2 months left before the akad nikah, i feel kinda sad..its not that i am not happy to get married with the one that i love and cherish so much, but i just can't imagine being away from my family..during my uni days, selalu sangat rindu my family especially mom and tend to call her almost every single day just to hear her voice and talked about my day at Uni, what i had for lunch and dinner, what i wore to class today, etc. and then ill call my eldest n younger sis and talk about what to do during semester break, gossiping about guys, etc.

..and now, i will get married in 60 days time..how time flies...

I just had my dinner and mummy dearest cooked Ayam Masak Lemak Cili Padi...fuuhh... serious sangat sedap.. =D mom's cooking is always the best..talking about cooking, i have only less than __ days to master in my cooking skills, which i am totally lack of it at the moment due to the never-ending wedding prep, balik lambat from office, makan, tidur, makan, tidur....(alasan..=p) okay, ill try my very best to schedule my time properly ya?

I have 3 weddings this month n all are my uni friends. congrats guys! thank you for lovely weddings cards and InsyaAllah i will come ya? masa untuk gemukkan badan lagi...yay!!

My colleagues and I decided to have Shida's farewell at Al-Rawsha Restaurant a day before Christmas. i was really sad when she decided to leave the Co....No more 'Sesi Luahan Perasaan' with her...sob...sob...thanks for everything dear n all the best in your future undertakings ya =D

Salam dear readers (do i have one?) =p,

well, its been a hectic week for me, as usual lah kan..with the wedding prep n all, I don't have much time to update my blog (as usual again, the same alasan =p) i'm pretty happy with my wedding prep so far, thanks to mummy dearest n kakngah for your help =D only left few things to buy for hantaran, and few other matters to be settled within this week and next week. the big day is getting nearer and since Abang seems to be pretty relax n told me not to feel 'cuak', so i just pretend not to be 'cuak' even though i just cant believe how time flies so fast!!! May Allah will always be with me n may my wedding prep runs smoothly InsyaAllah...

I have some pics to upload during my birthday last week but sadly i havent transfer those pics from my hp to my laptop. will try my very best to write more okay? =)

In the mean time, my aim is to buy foundation brush from MAC or Body Shop. jom kt gi OU kakngah!!

Yes, I am..huhuh...

Konon-konon nak jadi blogger (ehem..) but i dont even have time for myself! *sigh*

Actually, for the past 2 weeks, i've been browsing through the internet, looking for ideas as my wedding is just __ months to go!! (serious cuak..) I was quite shocked that sebenarnya ada banyak giler orang buat blog about their wedding preparation. there were few blogs that are quite informative as they shared their experience while preparing for the big day and also cool photographers, make-up artist, where to buy door gifts, etc. so i was a silent reader to quite a number of wedding blogs for the past 2 weeks n end up not updating my own blog...

I have decided not to sit for acca exam this coming Dec..=( yeah, i admit that im pretty sad about it but looking at the time that i have now plus i am in the middle of preparing for the big day, i dont think i have much time to study n scared that i could not manage both things at the end of the day...like what my mom said to me yesterday, Yang dikejar tak dapat, yang dikendong berciciran...

oh..i am looking forward for tomorrow's open house by PMB. time to gain some weight again!!

AGAC + Acar

Syukur Alhamdulillah, i have passed the second stage of the requirement for the position of Accountant =D the result came out on Wednesday and i can't believe it when i saw the 'LULUS' word..i admit that the AGAC Assessment was quite tough despite it is my first experience sitting for the so-called PTD exam n then being called to attend the AGAC assessment that was held last month. I managed to make new friends (and cool too.. =D ) during my 3 days and 2 nights at Institut Tanah Ukur Negara in Tanjung Malim, Perak and among them were candidates who are working with PLCs such as UEM and Syarikat Prasarana Negara Berhad, banks, KPMG, government bodies such as Jabatan Audit Negara and even fresh graduates.

So the last stage would be what i always called as "Sesi Hatiku Berdegup Kencang" which is the interview session. looks like i have to start practising from now...whatever it is, wish me luck ok?

Last night, i helped my mother n my sisters to make Acar for Raya and boy, its quite tidious to make Acar as u have to keep an eye while you are frying the penumis together with the onions+garlic, etc and there's no such thing as having the right measurement of putting the ingredients in as everyting is agak-agak (that's what mom said)...acar is all about masam+manis and i religiously jotted down the ingredients, steps and important points/tips to make the acar in my recipe book (yes i have one okay) while mom was making the acar. In the previous years, i used to help my mom chopping the carrots, cucumber, onions, etc and mom will do the cooking part. ktorg? tahu makan jer...huhuh....

Restoran Puteri & Little Penang Cafe

What a hectic week!! despite the workload and some issues on nonsense matters, i just can't wait for Raya which InsyaAllah will be next week!!yuu-huu!! i didnt apply for Raya leave this year (again =p) as im saving my annual leave for something big next year..i just have to admit that i envy my colleagues who will be on leave till the following week of Raya...not fair!!here am i trying to be tough (sangat....=p) not to be influence by my colleagues to apply leave for Raya...yeah, for the record i will be taking a good care of the IA Department for 2 years in a row!! =(

This raya will not be the same like the previous Raya as grandma is no longer with us.. (al-Fatihah) and me celebrating Raya as a single person before becoming Abang's wife next yr InsyaAllah..come to think about it, i just hv to admit that i feel sad about it as there wld be no manja2 session with mom n sisters when i come back home after a stressful day at office, no more mom wld tell me not to wear this, not to wear that, n i cant disturb my sisters everyday like i always do....with __months to go before the big day, i hope that i could spend more time with my family and the most important thing is to enjoy my single life to the fullest!! =D

Last Wed (9/9/09) <-- cool date huh? , me and Abang break our fast at Restoran Puteri in Brickfields. the foods r not that bad and n the buffet cost us RM 22 per pax. They served Sotong Tepung Goreng, Ikan Pari Masak Asam, Siput Sedut, Tom Yam, Murtabak, etc and for desserts, ada Lai Chee Kang, agar-agar lapis, kuih koci, puding, caramel (nyummy!!), etc. Here are some of the pics that i managed to capture:-

Yesterday (12/9/09), i went to The Curve with lil' orked, Sha n Shi to break fast with the rest of KENMS peeps at Little Penang Cafe. even though the crowd was small due to some of them could not make it in the last minute, we had so much fun chit-chatting as i havent met them for the past 2 years ever since i graduated from IIUM. credit to the organizers, sha n tim! =D

Not so sure why they increase the price as previously it cost lesser than RM25. yeah...it is an expensive magazine but if u you're looking for a wedding planner, photographer, make up artist, catering, or someone to make your pelamin, this is the right magazine for you to purchase. this mag is like 'Yellow Pages' as it features not only establish names like Pak Abu and Nas Great Idea, but also features those who are doing it part time or just started their business that offers great ideas and good quality of work.

For those of u who will be getting married this year or next year, this magazine would come in handy to guide u n make the right decision to choose according to your own budget and what you really want to make your wedding a wish come true. yeah, the mag is pretty expensive but its worth buying =)

Shop Till You Drop!

Since its gonna be a loong weekend for working people (like me =p) , my mom suggested that we should go to Jalan TAR today to buy things that we need for Raya. we arrived there around 11am n we were lucky enough to get a parking space beside the CIMB new building. orang mmg ramai giler...The place was so crowded and there were many stalls selling tudung, brooches, jeans and shirts to even crocs shoes. i bought myself 10 tudungs ^_^ and a pair of blouse which I love it so much! actually the tudung consists of 3 'Ariani' tudung, 4 'selendang' and 2 Siti Nurhaliza's tudung. check out this shop near Ariani that sells tudung at only RM 30 and the material is pretty similiar to Ariani's tudung. my mom n sis discovered this shop last month and yes, it is worth buying at this shop =) its just that if u want to try out their tudungs, there is no proper place or room for you to put it on. i kene tunduk, sorok2 celah tudung tu to try out their tudungs..i can't remember the name of the shop but InsyaAllah ill ask my mom or my sis n will inform u guys later alrite?

On Friday, me n Abang had break our fast together at Kenny Rogers Roasters, OU. we arrived there around 5.40pm and went straight to KRR to booked our table and mak aii..we were the 10th customer on the booking list. how lucky we are to be there early!! while waiting for azan maghrib, we went to JJ as he has promised to buy a new purse for me =) weeee......

i just love this purse when i first saw it and told abang about it. and now the purse is mine *ehem....*

On thursday, me, amalia n amalina had a quick plan to break our fast together at Dave's Deli, OU. I had Dave's 1/4 Quarter Chicken with Gravy, Amalia had Grilled Boneless Chicken yg tersangatlah nipis =( while Amalina had Grilled Fish. frankily speaking, i was still hungry after i finished my meal and told them that i want to buy McD (since its only RM 5.95 from 6pm-9pm..yay!!) but we end up having waffles together at Arena... =) thank u guys for coming..^_^

Yeah I know..mmg dah sangat berhabuk my blog ni..too many things happened for the past 2 n a half months...my engagement, grandma passed away 2 days before my engagement ='(, ACCA exam, AGAC assessment, outstation to north and south for 2 weeks straight, etc.. but well, all i can say is I need a break..or to be specific, I need to go for a holiday......

In the mean time, I have no energy to write more (sorry..), but InsyaAllah I will write soon okay? Wishing u Selamat Berpuasa n Selamat Menunaikan Solat Terawikh =D

My exam is just around the corner and I have to admit that I am a bit worried about it. sometimes it seems to be really stress up when people have high expectations on you, as you are taking what we called as 'Professional Exam' (duh....) the best part of taking these professional exams are people will look up at u and the qualification will benefit you in future. oh well... whatever it is, for those of you who will be sitting for exam this coming June, all the best and giving up should be the last thing on your mind. always motivate yourself and dont forget to pray to Allah s.w.t and seek for His guidance..

Lately, i have been thinking to have my own blog and well, here i am :) i used to have a blog during my university days but it hasn't been updated for quite sometime and there were only few things that i posted back then. i will try (yes i will =p) my very best to keep this blog updated (ehem...), considering that im working+studying part time (which sometimes i find it very stressful...tell me about it =p), to keep u posted with the latest updates alright? n btw, thank u for reading my blog, A Beautiful Life =)
